On-Balance Volume (OBV)
A running total that adds volume on up days and subtracts it on down days.

- Shows whether volume is flowing in or out behind a move.
- What to watch
- OBV rising while price is flat, or price and OBV moving in opposite directions.
- How Compass Alpha uses it
- Context only; not used in Compass scores.
